1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using CleanseTogether ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CleanseTogether. Your use of the App signifies your acceptance of these Terms.

2. Description of Service

CleanseTogether is a wellness tracking and educational app that provides:

• Guided parasite cleansing protocols (3, 7, 14, and 21-day plans)
• Symptom tracking through daily journaling
• Educational content and video lessons about parasites and gut health
• Community support features including forums and group chat rooms
• Progress tracking, achievement badges, and product recommendations

4. User Accounts

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate account information
• Maintaining the security of your password and account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Complying with these Terms and all applicable laws

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post in the App (journal entries, community posts, comments). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

• Display your content within the App
• Use your content to improve our services
• Share your community posts with other users as intended by the feature

You agree NOT to post content that is:

• Harmful, illegal, false, or misleading (especially health claims)
• Offensive, hateful, discriminatory, or harassing
• Spam, unauthorized advertising, or promotional material
• Violates others' rights, privacy, or intellectual property
• Contains medical advice (only share personal experiences)

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

You may NOT:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws
• Attempt to hack, compromise, or gain unauthorized access to the App or user accounts
• Scrape, copy, reproduce, or extract App content using automated tools
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Distribute viruses, malware, or other malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation or servers
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our permission
• Provide medical advice or claim to diagnose or treat conditions
• Remove or modify any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices

8. Intellectual Property

All App content, features, and functionality are owned by CleanseTogether and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:

• App design, code, and user interface
• Cleanse protocols and educational content
• Video lessons and instructional materials
• Graphics, logos, and branding

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without written permission. "CleanseTogether" and our logo are trademarks that may not be used without authorization.

9. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services:

• Firebase (Google Cloud): For authentication, database, and data storage
• Apple App Store: For payment processing and subscription management

Your use of these services is subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Providing medical advice or making health claims
• Harassment or inappropriate behavior toward other users
• Request by law enforcement or government agencies
• Extended periods of inactivity

You may delete your account at any time through app settings (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the App
• Specific health outcomes or results from using cleanse protocols
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of all information
• Compatibility with all devices or operating systems
• That defects will be corrected or the App will be virus-free

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some exclusions may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLEANSETOGETHER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Health outcomes, medical issues, adverse reactions, or complications resulting from cleanse protocols or information in the App
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from your use or inability to use the App
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Statements or conduct of any third party or other users
• Reliance on information, protocols, or recommendations in the App

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or $100 if greater).

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CleanseTogether from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from: (1) your use of the App, (2) your violation of these Terms, (3) your User Content, (4) your violation of any rights of another person or entity, or (5) any health outcomes or medical issues resulting from your use of cleanse protocols or information in the App.

14. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Arbitration: Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, rather than in court.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.

Exceptions: Either party may bring an action in small claims court for disputes within that court's jurisdiction.

15. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or App features. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the Terms were last revised. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and CleanseTogether regarding the App and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
