Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the SnapTrack AI mobile application ("SnapTrack AI" or "the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. SnapTrack AI is operated by SketchMyApp LLC ("we," "us," or "our").

Service Description

SnapTrack AI is a receipt tracking and expense management application that provides:

  • Camera-based receipt capture with edge detection
  • Voice memo attachments for receipts
  • Automatic expense categorization
  • Expense tracking and history
  • Data export in PDF, CSV, and ZIP formats
  • AI-powered OCR scanning (Premium)
  • QuickBooks integration and sync (Premium)
  • Expense reports and analytics (Premium)

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SnapTrack AI. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you should use the App under parental or guardian supervision.

Account Responsibilities

When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Only upload receipts and documents you are legally entitled to store

Device Permissions

SnapTrack AI requests the following device permissions to deliver its core features:

  • Camera: Required to capture receipt photos. We access the camera only when you initiate a scan.
  • Microphone: Required for voice memo recording. We record audio only when you actively initiate a memo.
  • Photo Library (optional): To import existing receipt images from your gallery.

You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking camera or microphone access will limit certain features of the App.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

SnapTrack AI offers a free tier that includes up to 100 receipt scans, basic expense categorization, and data export. No payment is required for the free tier.

Premium Subscription

Unlock unlimited receipts, AI OCR scanning, QuickBooks sync, and advanced reports through an auto-renewable subscription:

  • Monthly: $9.99 USD per month
  • Yearly: $99.00 USD per year (save ~17% vs. monthly)

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by SnapTrack AI directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the SnapTrack AI purchase, and follow the prompts.

Free Tier Limitations

The free tier includes a maximum of 100 receipt scans. Once this limit is reached, you will need to upgrade to Premium to continue scanning new receipts. Existing scanned receipts will remain accessible in your account.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload documents containing other people's private financial information without authorization
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use automated systems to access or scrape the App
  • Share your account credentials with others

Third-Party Integrations

SnapTrack AI integrates with QuickBooks (Premium) via Intuit's OAuth authorization. By enabling this integration, you agree to Intuit's terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for the availability or functionality of third-party services.

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of SnapTrack AI—including but not limited to the App interface, logos, scanning algorithms, and software—are owned by SketchMyApp LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal or business expense tracking purposes. Your receipt data and documents remain your property.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.

OCR SCANNING ACCURACY MAY VARY DEPENDING ON RECEIPT QUALITY, LIGHTING CONDITIONS, AND OTHER FACTORS. ALWAYS VERIFY EXTRACTED DATA BEFORE USE IN FINANCIAL REPORTS OR TAX FILINGS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SKETCHMYAPP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SketchMyApp LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App and contacting us to remove your data.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
