At SketchMyApp LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the SignalLink mobile application ("SignalLink" or "the App"). By using SignalLink, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Date of account creation
  • Authentication credentials (securely hashed)

Broker Connection Data

To connect to your broker accounts, we collect:

  • Broker API keys (stored encrypted)
  • Broker account identifiers
  • Selected broker type (Binance, OANDA, MT4, MT5)

Important: API keys are encrypted at rest and are used solely to execute trades on your behalf. We never store your broker passwords.

Trading Activity Data

When you use SignalLink, we log:

  • Signals received and parsed
  • Orders placed and their outcomes
  • Take-profit and stop-loss levels set
  • Asset symbols and trade sizes
  • Paper trading activity

Signal Source Configuration

To parse signals, we collect:

  • Telegram channel IDs or Discord server IDs you connect
  • Signal parsing preferences and templates

We do not store the full content of messages from your signal channels — only the parsed trade parameters extracted from them.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to SignalLink Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never have access to your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the app:

  • Features used and frequency
  • App crashes and error reports
  • Session duration
  • Device type and operating system version

This data is aggregated and anonymized — it cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

To Execute Your Trades

  • Authenticate to your connected broker accounts via API
  • Parse and forward trading signals
  • Manage multi-TP order placement and partial exits
  • Apply your configured risk settings

To Provide the Service

  • Display real-time market data via Finnhub
  • Show your trade history and performance
  • Manage your subscription and account settings

To Improve SignalLink

  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
  • Fix bugs and improve stability
  • Develop new broker integrations and signal sources

Financial Data and Trading Disclaimer

Important: SignalLink connects to your broker accounts to execute trades on your behalf based on signals you configure. We are not responsible for trading losses. Broker API keys are stored with encryption, but you should review your broker's API key permissions carefully and only grant trade execution access — never withdrawal access.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service with industry-leading security practices. We implement:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Encrypted storage for all broker API keys
  • Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Access controls limiting data access to essential personnel only

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Firebase (data storage), Finnhub (market data), Apple (payments) — bound by strict data protection agreements
  • Broker APIs: Your API keys are transmitted securely to your chosen broker to execute your configured trades
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correct: Update inaccurate information in your profile
  • Delete: Request deletion of your account and associated data, including broker API keys
  • Export: Receive your data in a portable format
  • Revoke: Remove broker API key access at any time from within the app or your broker's dashboard

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data — including any stored broker API keys — within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

Children's Privacy

SignalLink is not intended for children under 18, given its financial trading nature. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of SignalLink after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
