At SketchMyApp LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the ScoreCast mobile application ("ScoreCast" or "the App"). By using ScoreCast, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

  • Email address
  • Name
  • Date of account creation
  • Authentication credentials (securely hashed)

Usage Data

To improve the app experience, we collect:

  • Simulations you run (teams selected, game matchups)
  • Features used and frequency
  • App navigation patterns
  • Time spent in the app

Simulation History

When you use prediction features, we store:

  • Game simulations you have run
  • Prediction results and outcomes
  • Saved predictions and favorites
  • Betting edge analysis results

Important: Simulation history is stored to allow you to review past predictions and track accuracy over time. We do not share individual simulation data with third parties.

Subscription Information

If you subscribe to ScoreCast Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never have access to your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.

Analytics Data

We use Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data to improve the app:

  • Features used and frequency
  • App crashes and error reports
  • Session duration
  • Device type and operating system version

This data is aggregated and anonymized—it cannot be used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information

To Provide Game Predictions

  • Run Monte Carlo simulations for NFL game outcomes
  • Generate betting edge analysis based on current odds
  • Produce player projection reports
  • Deliver play-by-play simulation results

To Track Your Prediction History

  • Save and display your past simulations
  • Track prediction accuracy over time
  • Show trends and insights in your predictions

To Improve ScoreCast

  • Analyze usage patterns to enhance features
  • Fix bugs and improve stability

Third-Party Data Sources

ScoreCast uses third-party data to power its predictions. This data is about NFL teams, players, and games—not about you:

  • ESPN: Real-time NFL game data, team statistics, and player information
  • The Odds API: Current betting odds and lines from sportsbooks

We do not send your personal information to these data providers. They supply game data; we do not share user data with them.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service with industry-leading security practices. We implement:

  • Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
  • Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
  • Regular security audits and updates
  • Access controls limiting data access to essential personnel only

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Firebase (data storage), Apple (payments), Firebase Analytics (anonymized usage data) - bound by strict data protection agreements
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request
  • Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your personal data
  • Correct: Update inaccurate information in your profile

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

ScoreCast is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of ScoreCast after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
