Important: We use your location only to connect you with nearby providers and chain discounts. We do not continuously track your location in the background. Location access can be revoked at any time through your device settings.

When you use our booking features, we collect:

  • Reviews and ratings you submit
  • Chain discount participation history

Messaging Data

When you use in-app messaging, we collect:

Messages are stored securely and are only accessible to the participants in the conversation. We do not read or analyze message content for advertising purposes.

Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we use your device token to send you booking confirmations, chain discount updates, new messages, and service reminders. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings.

Business Profile Data (Service Providers)

Service providers who create a business profile provide:

  • Business name and description
  • Service categories offered
  • Service area and availability
  • Business credentials and certifications
  • Profile photos and portfolio images

Business profile information is publicly visible to homeowners searching for services.

Usage Analytics

We collect anonymized usage data to improve the app:

  • Features used and frequency
  • App crashes and error reports

  • Device type and operating system version

This data is aggregated and anonymized -- it cannot be used to identify you personally.

ProximityPerks is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.
