Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:

- Date of account creation
- Authentication credentials (securely hashed)
Screenshot Data
When you upload screenshots for game coaching:
- Screenshot images (processed by AI, then deleted after analysis)
- Game identified from the screenshot
- Game situation described by the AI
- Coaching response you received
Important: Screenshots are not stored permanently. They are processed by our AI coaching engine and automatically deleted. Your privacy is protected.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to GameGuide Pro Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never have access to your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized usage data to improve the app:
- Games you request coaching for (anonymized)
- Features used and frequency
- App crashes and error reports
- Session duration and coaching lookup count
- Device type and operating system version
This data is aggregated and anonymized—it cannot be used to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service with industry-leading security practices. We implement:
- Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
- Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
- Regular security audits and updates
- Access controls limiting data access to essential personnel only
- Automatic deletion of screenshots after AI processing
Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: Firebase (data storage), Apple (payments) - bound by strict data protection agreements

GameGuide Pro is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email. Your continued use of GameGuide Pro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
