1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the FaithPlanner mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and FaithPlanner ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the App.

2. Description of Service

FaithPlanner is a faith-based calendar application designed to help users:

• Unified Calendar Management: Sync and view events from Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, and local church calendars in one interface
• Spiritual Growth Tools: Access daily scripture readings, prayer reminders, and faith-based content
• Church Community Connection: Track church events, services, and community activities
• Cross-Device Synchronization: Keep your spiritual schedule synchronized across all your devices
• Faith-Focused Organization: Organize your spiritual journey with tools designed for believers

3. User Accounts and Registration

3.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of FaithPlanner, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You agree to:

• Provide truthful and accurate registration information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Update your account information to keep it current
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

3.2 Account Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person may not create multiple accounts
• Accounts are for individual use only and may not be shared
• You must provide a valid email address for account verification

4. User Conduct and Responsibilities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use FaithPlanner only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will NOT:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Violate any local, state, national, or international law or regulation
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use automated scripts or tools to access or interact with the App
• Upload or share malicious software or harmful content
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

4.2 Content Standards

When creating or sharing content within the App, you agree that your content will:

• Be respectful and appropriate for a faith-based community
• Not contain offensive, discriminatory, or harmful material
• Not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Not contain false or misleading information

5. Intellectual Property Rights

5.1 Our Intellectual Property

The App and all content, features, and functionality are owned by FaithPlanner and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. This includes:

• Software code and algorithms
• User interface design and graphics
• Faith-based content and scripture compilations
• App name, logos, and branding
• Features and functionality concepts

5.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

5.3 User Content

You retain ownership of content you create or upload. However, you grant us a limited license to use such content solely for providing and improving our services.

6. Premium Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Premium Features

FaithPlanner offers premium subscriptions that provide additional features such as:

• Unlimited calendar syncing
• Advanced prayer and scripture customization
• Enhanced church event integration
• Priority customer support
• Data export capabilities

6.2 Subscription Terms

• Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

6.3 Payment

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of content
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy of spiritual content or religious interpretations

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• IN NO EVENT SHALL FAITHPLANNER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTIONS IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, SPIRITUAL CONTENT, OR INTERRUPTION OF SERVICE
• WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THIRD-PARTY CALENDAR SERVICE OUTAGES OR SYNC FAILURES

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FaithPlanner and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to:

• Your violation of these Terms
• Your use or misuse of the App
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Any content you create or share through the App

10. Termination

10.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

• Deleting the App from your device
• Cancelling any active subscriptions
• Contacting us to request account deletion

10.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the service or other users
• Extended periods of account inactivity

10.3 Effects of Termination

Upon termination:

• Your right to access and use the App immediately ceases
• Your account data may be deleted within 30 days
• You remain liable for any charges incurred before termination
• Surviving provisions (warranties, liability limitations) remain in effect

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any legal disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will post the updated Terms in the App and on our website
• We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this document
• For material changes, we will provide prominent notice through the App
• Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance

If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you should discontinue use of the App.
