  • Payment information is processed securely through Apple's and Google's payment systems

Your Content Ownership

  • You own all songs, lyrics, and recordings you create in ChordCraft
  • We do NOT claim any ownership or copyright over your musical content
  • You retain full rights to use, distribute, and monetize your songs
  • When you share songs publicly, you grant other users the right to view them
  • You can delete your songs at any time

Data Sharing

  • We do NOT sell your personal information or song content
  • We do NOT share your data with third parties for marketing purposes
  • Songs are only shared when you explicitly choose to share them with the community
  • Collaboration data is only shared with users you invite
  • Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be used for analytics and app improvement
  • We may share data if required by law or to protect our legal rights

Your Rights

  • Access all your data at any time through the app
  • Update or correct your information in profile settings
  • Export your songs as PDF (Pro users) or request a data export
  • Delete individual songs or your entire account

Audio Recording Privacy

ChordCraft requires microphone access to record audio for chord detection and lyric transcription:

  • Audio recordings are processed locally and/or in the cloud for AI analysis
  • Recordings are temporarily stored only during processing
  • Processed audio is deleted after chord and lyric extraction
  • We do NOT use your recordings to train AI models without explicit consent
  • You can deny microphone access, but recording features won't work

Children's Privacy

ChordCraft is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information.

International Users

If you're accessing ChordCraft from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located. By using ChordCraft, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app, email, or a prominent notice. Your continued use of ChordCraft after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
