Nutrition Profile Information
To provide personalized gap analysis, we collect:

Important: This profile information is stored securely and used solely to personalize your nutrition gap analysis and recommendations. We do not share this information with third parties.
Food Logging Data
When you use food tracking features, we collect:

Barcode Scan Data
When you use the barcode scanning feature, the App accesses your device camera to read product barcodes. Barcode data is used solely to look up nutritional information for the scanned product. We do not store images captured by the camera.
Subscription Information
If you subscribe to NutriGap Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but never have access to your payment card details, billing address, or other financial information.
Usage Analytics
We collect anonymized usage data to improve the app:
- Features used and frequency
- App crashes and error reports
- Session duration
- Device type and operating system version
This data is aggregated and anonymized -- it cannot be used to identify you personally.

Your data is stored securely using Firebase, a Google Cloud service with industry-leading security practices. We implement:

- Secure authentication with Firebase Auth
